What to Expect at an Emergency Veterinary Appointment
Knowing what to expect during your visit to our emergency animal hospital can help ease some of the stress you and your beloved pet may be feeling.
STEP 1
Check-In
Upon your arrival, a member of our team will personally escort you to an examination room. If you haven't completed our New Patient Form yet, you will be kindly asked to do so. Your pet will then be assessed by a technician, followed by a thorough examination by a veterinarian.
STEP 2
Meet The Emergency Veterinary Team
A veterinarian and a member of our emergency team will review your pet's history and discuss their health issues with you. We'll also be glad to answer any questions you may have.
STEP 3
Examination, Diagnosis & Treatment
Once your pet has been assessed, we will provide you with treatment options and a detailed estimate for care. Your emergency veterinarian will work with you to determine the best treatment plan for your pet. After your visit, we will also provide your primary care veterinarian with a detailed report about the appointment and treatment plan.
